Working equipment risk level characterization during general and detailed design stages
Publication
This paper describes a new approach aimed at small and medium sized companies to characterize a risk level for all types of working equipment during the architectural and detailed design stages.
Based on the hypothesis that dangerous phenomena can be linked to the presence of energy, the problem of hazard detection can be focused on the analysis of energy flows within a machine, and their potential links with the future user. Here we present the results of an exploratory study that uses the Energetic Functional Model (MFE). This study take part in a doctoral thesis currently in progress in the common laboratory INRS - ENSAM.
