International Strategy
With globalisation, occupational risk prevention has crossed national boundaries to become a European and international issue. Accelerated innovation, labour mobility, and the emergence of new risks are all reasons that have led INRS to establish and maintain international partnerships with counterpart institutions and entities in order to be more effective in developing prevention tools and solutions.
European and International networks
For many years now, INRS has worked with European and international networks involved in occupational safety and health issues. This co-operation has enabled all of the divisions of INRS to exchange research and survey results, methodologies, and good practices, and to pool databases.
European and international institutions
INRS action is expressed through its participation in the work of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (OSHA) in Bilbao, Spain, its leadership role in European projects and its presence within international institutions.
