Outsourcing maintenance activities. Synthesis related to private law contracts and considerations for prevention
Publication
Maintenance is one of the functions of firms, which is the most outsourced. This outsourcing can take very different forms, partly determined by the contractual relationships between companies. In order to adapt, but also to develop, the prevention of occupational risks in this area, the different forms of maintenance outsourcing and the regulatory provisions related to outsourced maintenance interventions are examined. On this basis, prevention tracks are proposed in two main ways: on the one hand, by an integration of prevention in the contractual relationships; on the other hand, by a better consideration of the reticular and distal organization of maintenance activities and its related risks.
