Designing risk prevention related to nanomaterials based on the activity of the workers and the discussion about the work: case of the public laboratories of search and the branch of industry

Publication

The aim of this report is to present the results of research during four years about nanomaterials risk prevention, with partnership between Pacte laboratory and INRS.
The use of nanomaterials is today a major technological innovation in all business sectors. These new materials have important scientific and economic issues and ask questions about their effects on health and the environment.
This is to understand the real prevention practices implemented in relation to this emerging risk, exploring the risk representations of the workers in connection with their work activities. It is also to explore how the mobilization of corporate stakeholders around the prevention device and their confrontation to action and work activity transform their representations and create debate on the prescription to build.
We wish to question the discussion areas about work as a prevention tool that enable the transformation of risk representations among workers and the collective production of rules.
