The use of distance learning (e-learning) in vocational training of employees: Presentation, influence on the actors and elements of vigilance

Publication

For many years, e-learning and other terms more or less directly involved continue to expand in our society. This expansion is a combination of several factors, some of which will be developed. The two main factors are probably the evolution of technical devices and changes in regulatory requirements around training, but other factors also help explain this trend. Companies see opportunities to organize the flexibility of their employees and control the cost of training. Employees will find the development of autonomy and opportunities for personal development. And both companies and employees see the possibility to emancipate from time and place constraints and to gain leeway. However, the reality of e-learning as practiced by the actors is more complex.
