The « well-being at work » approach for the prevention of psychosocial risks. SATIN. A questionnaire assessing working conditions and health. Users’ guide
Publication
Considering psychosocial risks in companies requires the construction of a dialogue involving, beyond the partners in the prevention, Human Resources functions as well as management. It is broadly accepted that actions on organizational aspects are essential in order to simultaneously reduce those risks and promote well-being at work. This dialogue should be facilitated if it is grounded on quantitative data on the psychosocial and organizational difficulties experienced by working teams or subpopulation of professionals. The SATIN questionnaire has been developed on this background. It was also designed so that the usual work of occupational physicians (medical periodic visits) could be taken into account. This Scientific Note presents the tool and its methodology of use.
