"YOTA" exhaust system for band saws - Technical Dossier

The "YOTA" exhaust device for woodworking band saws developed by INRS allows a significant reduction in the amount of dust emitted into the atmosphere at work stations during sawing operations when machining and finishing wood.

This INRS scientific and technical note presents the concept related to the "YOTA" device and provides the technical elements allowing:
- its manufacture and installation on machines in service, taking into account the particularities of each;
- manufacturers of woodworking machines to adapt it easily to equip new machines.
