Using ontologies, based on work situations, for safety requirements

Publication

The designers have difficulty in formalizing the passage of needs in safety in the requirements of safety during the production line's design. We present through this paper a methodological approach which, from a working situation on the production line, allows the designers to highlight the criteria of use which have an influence on the user's health and the safety in the safety requirements. The methodology leans mainly on the use of the ontologies known to be rich sources of knowledge. The purpose is to put at the disposal of the designers a methodological tool of helping him in the formalization of the requirements of safety.
