Dynamics of the adoption of professional exoskeletons: actions in terms of prevention

Publication

Understanding and analyzing the dynamics of the adoption process for professional exoskeletons, as a reflection of the quality of the interaction between the device and its user, makes it possible to define points of vigilance in terms of prevention, particularly during the integration and follow-up phases of use. To this end, two complementary studies were carried out. The first quantitative study, based on a questionnaire, identified the determinants of the adoption process in two stages: acceptability and acceptance. The second, a qualitative study, enabled us to characterize more precisely the familiarization sequence at the start of the acceptance stage. These results are summarized and discussed from the perspective of prevention.
