Articifial intelligence in the service of occupational safety and health: challenges and prospects for 2035

The introduction of artificial intelligence systems in the professionnal environment is a reality that raises questions in terms of risk prevention. INRS conducted a prospective exercise to identify the challenges and future prospects for the use of these technologies in the field of occupational safety and health by 2035. The scope of this multidisciplinary reflection is therefore focused on the areas of use that can affect occupational risk prevention. This article sheds light on work conducted, which is based on the exploration of different possible development scenarios and projections in three areas of use. All of the lessons drawn are compiled in a number of key messages.
