Hearing Loss in the Cultural and Creative Industries Sector

The entertainment industry is a sector where the prevalence of hearing loss remains unknown, despite the fact that many professions, such as musicians, stage managers, and technicians, are frequently exposed to high sound levels. The INRS and the occupational health service Thalie Sant have partnered to analyze audiometric measurements collected over 23 years during occupational health check-ups of more than 63,000 workers in the entertainment sector.
