Publication
The August 2, 2021 law on strengthening occupational health prevention requires the creation of professional dropout prevention units (PDPs) within intercompany occupational health and safety services (SPSTIs). This article explores the implementation of PDP units, their evolution, and the obstacles and levers for action they face. Drawing on feedback from a qualitative longitudinal study conducted twice one and a half years apart among occupational health professionals working in six SPSTIs, it seeks to understand how these structures have translated regulatory requirements into daily practice.
