The hard consideration of health risks by middle management

This text is part of a series of studies, training courses, interventions, interviews, etc. on the consideration of health risks by middle management (Marc, 2021 ; Marc & al. 2021). The contribution developed here is based on five exploratory semi-structured interviews with middle managers. After briefly presenting the context of this work, we will present our practical and theoretical interest in this relatively unknown population, particularly with regard to the consideration of health risks. Although the small number of middle managers interviewed does not allow us to generalise the analyses carried out, these results highlight points in common with other work on risk management in general: cognitive compromises, managed safety - regulated safety, including a trivialisation of certain risks and its influence on their detection and organisational treatment.
