Development of a miniature sensor network for studying the impact of ventilation on indoor air quality

Presentation

A network of resistive miniature sensors is developed in order to monitor the total VOC indicator present as a function of variations in ventilation parameters. Two types of experiments are carried out in parallel to optimize this metrological tool and to ensure it meets the desired objectives. The first is to study the response of this network of sensors in a real situation, implemented in a experimental room and subject to the emissions of a building material. The second, is to identify, in reduced scale, the most sensitive sensor-material pairing for detecting changes in the ventilation system.
