Digital and green innovations - Shaping the future of occupational health and safety
Euroshnet Conference
The 9th Euroshnet Conference will take place on 27-28 May 2026, in Helsinki, Finland. The topic of the edition 2026 is “Digital and green innovations - Shaping the future of occupational health and safety”.
The world of work is transforming at an unprecedented pace. Climate change poses significant challenges for workplace safety, while digital transformation creates new opportunities for innovative solutions. Both developments also require reshaping the approach to occupational safety and health.
At the 9th EUROSHNET Conference, experts from across Europe are coming together to explore how standardization, testing and certification can evolve to meet these emerging realities. Sustainable products and new requirements are needed in order to mitigate the effects of climate change and implement a circular economy whilst at the same time ensuring the protection of workers.
Digital transformation takes center stage with discussions on artificial intelligence applications in workplace safety, smart PPE and safe use of driverless vehicles. Standards for tomorrow, next-generation testing and certification approaches, regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies, and best practices from across Europe will also be discussed.
