Hand arm vibration international conference

From 6 to 9 June 2023, the 15th International Conference on Hand-Arm Vibration will be held in Nancy (France). It is organised by INRS under the patronage of the International Advisory Committee on Hand-Arm Vibration.

 

Operators of machines, hand-held or hand-guided, can be exposed to vibrations or mechanical shocks that spread through the hand and arm. In the long term, frequent use of these vibrating machines can cause diseases in arteries, nerves, and joints of the upper limb.


The 15th International Conference on Hand-Arm Vibration will be held in Nancy (France). It is organised under the patronage of the International Advisory Committee on Hand-Arm Vibration. It will bring together scientists from different disciplines who will discuss the latest knowledge about hand-arm vibration so that there can be better understanding and prevention of the effects on workers’ health. This conference is intended for scientists and also occupationnal physicians, prevention officers, machine manufacturers, metrologists, standardisation groups and government agencies
