Work situations with a high emotional load and organisational prevention practices.

Study

This psycho-ergonomic study follows on from a previous study focusing on emotions at work and health. It aims, on the basis of the research work conducted at INRS and elsewhere, to do a stocktaking of the theoretical, methodological and practical results obtained on this topic in terms of prevention. It is planned to analysis the scientific results obtained by INRS and those from national and international work by different prevention institutes and universities. The initiative encompasses the analysis of the results of the interventions and of the research actions carried out by INRS within the context of the prevention of psycho-social risks in several enterprises of the manufacturing and service sectors. It envisages completing these data, firstly by exploring new professional contexts and secondly by analysing, in conjunction with the external experts interviewed, the results of their scientific work conducted in this field. The anticipated results will bring the points of convergence and divergence between the different researchers on this topic up to date. The study will also provide the necessary elements to be given consideration in order to arrive at the basis of one or several possible intervention methodologies and the foundations of prevention approaches accessible to those directly involved in prevention.

Results exploitation planned:
- scientific articles reviewing the syntheses carried out,
- guides including recommendations intended for the enterprises investigated, then broader recommendations aimed at the professional sectors involved,
- video research document aimed at presenting the theoretical, methodological and practical results of the study, while constituting a useful working document for the acquisition and dissemination of scientific knowledge unique to this field.
