Occupational allergies: INRS 2013 scientific conference on occupational health and safety

The aim of this conference, organised by INRS and supported by the Partnership for European Research in Occupational Health and Safety (PEROSH), was to review knowledge of allergies, invalidating and very often under-estimated pathologies, in terms of both their frequency and consequences for employees. In turn, toxicologists, epidemiologists, metrologists, engineers and prevention professionals compared their viewpoints and arguments. This summary report will be principally about medical aspects, the other fields will be discussed more synthetically.
