Filtration of ultrafine metallic particles generated by industrial processes

Industrial filters used to eliminate aerosols made of ultrafine particles (less 100 nm in diameter) rapidly undergo clogging especially in the case of processes generating ultrafine metal particles such as thermal metal spraying, cutting, arc welding,...). This clogging is currently a problem
in terms of management. The study presented here is to identify the causes of cartridge filters clogging and to explore other tracks of cleaning systems.
