Analysis of the objectives of an outsourced proximity coaching activity: between production and health
Publication
Understanding the target objectives and compromises underlying the actions of proximity coaches is considered an essential lever for their health and preventing occupational risks for the operators they are coaching. However, organizing outsourced coaching is likely to re-question the knowledge used, given the client’s presence and proximity to the activity. We are therefore seeking to characterize a form of regulation specific to this “participation in production” context for two outsourced proximity coaches. The analysis of the objectives set by these coaches in relation to the different segments that make up their activity, as well as the resulting arbitration, show that “participation in production” is a regulation aiming to respond to the activity’s variables and indirectly protect the health of the operators. It nevertheless expresses itself differently for the two coaches. The differences notably concern the compromises made between the segments according to the outsourcing context and the characteristics of the coaches.
