Study of clogging / cleaning cycles of a pleated filter
Publication
Fumes produced by thermal spraying processes are composed of particles of almost 95 % ultrafine particles. These particles with high clogging properties lead to difficulties to industrial filtration processes to maintain the air flow rate and the cleaning of the filter elements. This study confirms the high clogging capacity of these metallisation fumes and the inability of pleated filter cleaning by the technique of compressed air pulse-jet.
