Assessing optical radiation hazards without in situ measurements
Publication
Occupational exposure to artificial optical radiations (AOR) may be appraised without requiring in situ measurements.
A three-steps method identifies harmless occupational situations from workplace description and providers data and guides.
When employees safety is not ensured, the CatRayon free software allows for computing exposure to AOR and comparing it with daily exposure limits.
We describe this software through a case study.
