Publication

The aim of this article is to propose, through an intervention in clinical activity in car logistics industry, the study of the conditions allowing the development of activity and health at work. The clinical activity intervention framework and its methodology, among bumpers assembly operators, show how the activity clinician’s action tries to overcome organizational obstacles and transforms those into new means for operators work development. We emphasize the necessity of a clinical work both with the operators through an occupational co-analysis, and with designers and managers of the firm in steering committee. It’s necessary to maximize the possibilities of operator’s activity development and the transformation of the organizational work, in spite of uncertainly our actions with human activity and organizational work complexity. From this analysis, we propose three conditions which seem fundamental to sustain the activity development and the spread out this analysis throughout the organization. These three conditions are: work dialogue authenticity, commitment in debate and transfer of astonishment and affects. It’s a proposal for opening up a discussion to contribute a model of the transformation in clinic of activity’s perspective.
