EUROSHNET Conference

The 6th EUROSHNET European Conference on standardisation, testing and certification in the field of occupational safety and health will take place in Dresden, Germany in June 2019. It will address occupational safety and health developments related to innovation and new production modes (digitalisation, smart objects, etc.).
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 31 October 2018.
How will occupational safety and health evolve to meet the challenges of smart manufacturing and new forms of work? How are standardisation, testing and certification reacting to innovation? How to accompany the changes? The EUROSHNET network of European OSH experts proposes to look into these matters and discuss the challenges posed by these new forms of work to prevention.
Subjects being addressed over the three days:
- Innovative solutions for tackling risks related to dangerous substances, work equipment, etc.
- Smart and new technologies and workers’ safety
- Standardisation, testing and certification: keeping pace with change
- Future role of standardisation, testing and certification in the European social system
This event is intended for European and national public authorities, OSH institutions, accident insurance institutions, testing and certification bodies, standardisation organisations, social partners and manufacturers, importers and users of products.
